The Sea Breeze project has been presented for the first time at the international real estate exhibition MIPIM 2026 — one of the largest platforms for showcasing development and investment projects. The exhibition is held in Cannes and annually brings together leading developers, architects, investors, city leaders and decision-makers from around the world.

On the first day of MIPIM, the official opening ceremony of the Sea Breeze stand took place with the participation of RX France Managing Director Filippo Rean, MIPIM Director Nicolas Boffi, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to France, Leyla Abdullayeva. Following the opening ceremony, the official presentation of the project was held. Emin Agalarov, founder and owner of Sea Breeze, presented the concept for the development of the resort city on the Caspian Sea coast and spoke about the long-term development strategy of the territory.

“Most developers approach projects with a five- to seven-year horizon. Sea Breeze has never had a finish line — it is the project of a lifetime for me. I am not trying to complete it quickly or monetize it. All revenue generated over the past twenty years has been reinvested into infrastructure — roads, landscaping, schools, and medical facilities. The more infrastructure and quality urban environment we create within the project, the higher the demand for real estate,” noted Emin Agalarov.

On the first day of the exhibition, the presentation was also delivered by the chief master planner of the resort city, Darren Comber, CEO of the international architectural bureau Scott Brownrigg.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to France, Leyla Abdullayeva, emphasized the importance of the project for the country’s international positioning: “It is a great honor for me to participate in this ceremony. I am grateful to Emin Agalarov, the Sea Breeze team, and the organizers of MIPIM for the opportunity to present Azerbaijan. Sea Breeze is also a presentation of Azerbaijan.”

MIPIM 2026 will run until March 13. Throughout the week, the Sea Breeze team is holding meetings at the stand with investors, developers, and architectural firms, presenting the project to the international professional community. Architectural models of key projects from the new phase of the territory’s development — Halfmoon Island and the Caspian Dream Liner complex — are displayed at the Sea Breeze stand.
